Making the most out of December plans. Day seven.

It’s time to build some agents.

Building agents, if we’re being honest is about relinquishing control.

That’s where everybody screws up with agents.

They want to control them.

If you want control don’t build an agent, build a workflow.

But workflows aren’t sexy. Agents are.

Give me some of that sexy agent juice.

I tried building one this morning.

I got caught up in deciding how much freedom to give it.

All I wanted is something that would define all of the SEO juice for my posts.

The thing I’m worst at, because I don’t care enough.

So I should just tell it what I want and step away.

That’s the real question. Are you really ready to give up control?

🍯 🦡 Building

What did I ship today?

A bunch of thoughts.

Someone should catch them.

🧰 The Beginner’s Stack

Tools I am using to fake being an expert.

1. Beehiiv (The Platform)

"I tried other platforms, but Beehiiv is the only one that makes growth feel like a game. It’s what runs this newsletter. The Deal: You get a free trial + 20% off (I get a commission to keep the lights on)."

2. Wispr Flow (The Time Saver)

"I hate typing. This tool turns my rambling voice notes into perfect text. It’s the only way I can write this much every day. The Deal: We both get a free month if you try it."

3. Emergent (The Coding Cheat)

"I am not a coder. Emergent is my 'vibe coding' partner that writes the messy parts for me. Essential if you want to build apps without a CS degree."

Last Word.

How do we make progress? I’m not entirely sure.
