Every Sunday I’m plotting to do one thing better than last week.
The plan for this week was to get to automation.
That didn’t happen, and to be honest, I haven’t gotten to the end of my AI enabled training to be able to judge how automatic I will be. Claude, at least, claims it will show me how to create entries, read web-pages, through automation.
The real world test case I’m constructing is a registry of all the businesses in my town. It’s small enough, 35k people, that it should be straight forward. I also know the town so I’ll be able to catch bogus data easier than somewhere else.
Recalibrating in the face of actual results, this coming week I expect to have a technical approach to building a site without having to do it all manually. Specifically I want AI to adhere to page schemas that make it easy for google to ingest. I also expect to have a plan for scraping the data I need.
This was the first full week of this experiment. It was cool to do.
